Yes there are ads in the app, some penny for developer. The content is not owned by developer so there is no ads in between video streaming, ads are only present in info and detail parts of the app. You can remove ads for some days by completing the offer.

Clear app storage data from settings and restart app. Everything works fine then.

Well some anime's images were not available so i put Kakashi to wander.
